My Romeo kitty, a big black Manx.
Here's my darling bundle of joy, Romeo, who's usually a powerhouse of energy. He's a long-haired Manx (tailless) cat. For you history buffs, Manx cats were deliberately bred to be without a tail on the Isle of Man, off of the coast of England near the Baltic Sea, during the 17th and 18th centuries. They possess exceptionally large hindquarters and stockier bodies than the typical housecat.
Romeo is built like a Sumo wrestler, but he's a real pussycat (excuse the pun).
Romeo's looking rather bored here ... a rare moment since he's a real prankster and loves playing with my silk flowers throughout my home. He's taking a breather from his daily workout here. "Whew, gotta catch a breath or two before I find something else to get into." Mom, watch out.
