My husband, Steve and I stayed overnight here in beautiful Rothenburg, Germany, which boasts of magnificent, charming gingerbread house (haus) architecture and famous flowerboxes throughout. We could not get enough of the view, here, nor could we sustain ourselves at the wonderful "biergartens" in Munich. We visited this area right before Oktoberfest; yet you'd never know it the way we were so warmly welcomed and the perennial festive environment we experienced throughout Germany, especially in Bavaria.
