My precious Cookie, my pal of nine years.

Here's a beautiful photo of my cat, Cookie, who passed away a few months ago from a fatal feline disease known as Tularemia (a/k/a "Rabbit Fever"). She caught and killed a rabbit righ before we went on vacation and, even though our pet sitter kept her indoors while we were away, Cookie's symptoms mimicked those of a cold or the flu. We have had our other two kitties, Romeo and Topaz vaccinated against this disease and others. Romeo and Topaz are strictly indoor cats. I wrote a poem for Cookie, "An Angel Waits At Heaven's Gate".
