MY WORLD PEACE EPIPHANY ®
Original world peace poetry by Donna J. Fennel.
Quilled on this 2nd day of April, 2004, while I knock upon
Heaven's gilded door and time I eternally explore.
May I know and grow from Earth Mother’s fodder and force ~
Erstwhile learning and turning ‘round life’s labyrinth of course.
For as the Holy One’s guest, I shall be blessed with God’s best ~
As I fulfill my quest to promote peace on our planet distressed.
Persuade mine thoughts, now, to depart from this earthly roar ~
With quip of quill, I instill to investigate more unexplored shore.
Bless peaceful pall and pilgrimage to open mine heart and door ~
To all ‘mongst us suffering and poor, whom I shant e’er ignore.
Now, as I wander ‘midst woeful world persevering to explore ~
Realms beckoning beyond mine hallowed helm, I shant fear more
Than all that the Lord hath planned for me to modestly charter ~
Ah, for with these I must work harder, as peace-seeking martyr.
O, someday I pray whence I bid mine world peace cause adieu ~
His Son bless'd me with a trove of worthy, worldly callings new.
Erstwhile mine fervency to write and delight via quaking quill ~
Lends hope for the world to cope with what be impending, still.
Ah, once I stood ‘pon mine balcony, wherefrom swiftly ascended ~
A regal eagle owning wingspan mind had naught comprehended.
Whose pride of glide above mountainside and majesty of plume ~
Assured mine spirit all will be peaceful for our woeful world soon.
Whence cometh shaft of prismic rays purveying sunshine’s wane ~
As tho to say all will be okay, once man’s dominion becomes tame.
Creamiest cloud cocoon billowing, coddled soul needing pillowing ~
‘Twas then I be convinced to resume mine mission for His Eminence.
Alas, perhaps mankind’s tempest of terrors and his Terra turbulence ~
Will cease once he attains world peace, being forgiven for insolence.
Cometh soon migration of local beasts, for cataclysm will not cease ~
Unless man accepts mission to work towards his aim for world peace.
Lo, ‘midst mind of mortal confusion lies beacon of hopeful diffusion ~
To cease searing our eyes with illusions portending a sinister surprise.
Yet man need naught go there, if he learns to share, pair and spare ~
His love for humanity instead of calamity, breeding a planet of care.
Cometh hour whence Holy Voyager will towards Earth soon return ~
With four men of horse and scarlet moon of doom, unless we now learn
To mitigate and alleviate our savageness of breast in bodies possessed ~
By none other than Lucifer’s madness commandeering his brutal quest.
Angels, cometh forward now; cradle me in your eternity of amity arms ~
Shielding out the disdainful din of wars ‘midst a woeful world’s alarms!
Coddle me and my humankind fine, allowing us to now peacefully thrive ~
In a harmonious haven of humanity, who hath been destined to survive!
I hast experienced a dream, wherein air declared praising voices as one ~
In a single eternal homily, for man’s TRUE war hath ultimately been won.
The Lord’s Promise was now fulfilled, ‘mongst man’s languishing lands ~
Mine dream play revealed an end to foray, as world was shaking hands!
Entering realm where Mistress Moon reveals what a new eve conceals ~
I now fathom what beckons ‘midst stratum of universe’s constellations.
Within their cosmic complexity awaits key to end mankind’s perplexity ~
For whence their mystery is unfurled, he WILL thrive in a peaceful world.
