A FUTURIST’S VISION®
Original, visionary world peace poetry by Donna J. Fennel, CIW/SD.
Quilled on June 14, 2004 while I travel through time’s cosmic door.

With quip of her quill at will, she seeks to instill ~
That hope waits ‘pon a huddled humanity’s hill.
Her green eyes glimmer with compelling gleam ~
As she beckons you into her world peace dream.
Her preponderance to aid those so despondent ~
Yearning to emit light into dimmest cosmic room
Offering new dawn to those woebegone who long ~
With open arms, saving man from harm and doom.
Ah, the path of her mercenary quest is rocky, at best ~
Marled and snarled by gnarled talons of her life’s limbs.
As she dreams humanity will become one with his kin ~
Spawned from mankind’s awakening willpower within.
For her visions foretell that this world will soon be well ~
Soon painful past dream will fade from nightmare scene.
Indeed, man’s loneliest of touch will be rewarded much ~
When his spirit ascends from Hell into the Lord’s holy well.
Some believe my idea is spawned from a ship of fools ~
And that my “Ark of World Peace” is an imaginary tool
Whose conception, I reckon, is merely foolish groping ~
At a decadent dream that keeps woeful world hoping.
Yet if man throws down his weaponry, learning to trust ~
Taking a serious stand to humbly abandon his command
To world seize and occupy, he may be in for a surprise ~
When all eyes gaze ‘pon planet now peaceful and just.
Know that through the course of our cosmic exploration ~
We will find we are not alone, as we venture from home.
While we meet those who watch our world’s devastation ~
Planning to visit us again as before, through celestial door.
Frenzied fires have engulfed spires of our mightiest empires ~
As Earth became stark, while men rampaged through dark.
We will witness war’s detention through Divine intervention ~
Entering new dimension, ensuring our extinction prevention.
Woe be to those who seek to serve falsely as world leaders ~
Who contend us they will defend, yet are actually deceivers.
For when the Mark of the Beast is seen, all who will convene ~
To destroy will witness final Tribulation that God will employ.
While minutes pass away towards brink of dawning day ~
As sultry sun sensuously sets into her Mother Earth’s breast
Perhaps man just might receive what has been overdue ~
And peace will come true, if the first step comes from you.
My hope is that solace-starved society will become chaste ~
Replaced by goodness and grace, in global village foretold
From my ages of old, becoming palace of peaceful place ~
To be bless’d ‘mongst the Divine Ones, our own human race.
I pray that you and yours receive ALL that is best and bless’d
As you join me in this world peace quest, dear cyber guest ~
And be fearful not, for somehow time mankind has bought ~
From God, so that man can receive what he deserves best.
