Located in one of the most beautiful, picturesque regions of Northwest Arkansas in the United States of America, nestled in the heart of the scenic Ozark mountains, Harmony Center is an abundant 360 acres of land and natural resources established as a community near the town of Dry Fork in Northwest Arkansas of which Mike Mikesell, Harmony Center Founder and Owner, holds the capacity of presiding Dry Fork Constable. Harmony Center, Arkansas in the central United States is located 48 miles east of Fayetteville, Arkansas and 35 miles west of Harrison, Arkansas off of scenic State Highway 412.  Smaller Northwest Arkansas towns neighboring Harmony Center are Harrison (35 miles), Berryville (20 miles), Huntsville (18 miles), and Eureka Springs (30 miles).  Harmony Center is located 70 miles from the popular vacation, entertainment and resort area of Branson, Missouri.
Harmony Center's one mile long, county maintained private driveway offers seclusion and privacy enmeshed in a safe, peaceful and picturesque setting. The scenic, abundant Harmony Center property is comprised of hills, bluffs and a one mile long sprawling valley including a wealth of pasture.  Opportunities abound at Harmony Center including, but not limited to, the following professions and trades: Farming, horticulture, artisans and artists (i.e., writers, poets, journalists, lyricists, photographers, painters, sculptors, woodworkers and craftspersons), home-based small businesses, medical, legal, technical, engineering, science and computer science practitioners, holistic and spiritual health care and high technology encompassing a variety of lifestyles and belief systems.
Simply addressed, we are in the process of developing Harmony Center to become a safe, sane, serene, and spiritual intentional community settlement based in the Northwest Arkansas Ozark mountains. Residents of Harmony Center wish to provide for ourselves, and others, an established cooperative residential site commonwealth where all who reside in Harmony Center can feel safe to come and go, with the essential benefit of being secure in their supportive neighborhood community.
We have formulated several objectives through which we seek to accomplish our Harmony Center intentional community project goals:
1) A retreat area where groups can spend anywhere from a weekend to fourteen days,      while separating themselves completely from the high stress of modern living.
2) An on-site, low key health care clinic owned and operated by Mike Mikesell, the      clinicians of which utilize and administer the best natural methods of health care.
3) Development of self supporting, independently owned and operated home cottage      industries.  Examples of these include growing one's own herbs and garden, and then      selling their organic produce to the local and handsome city of Fayetteville, Arkansas      Farmer's Market.
Another example would be an individual operating their own independent computer      business from their Harmony Center residence, or someone who wishes to provide on      site certified holistic health care services at Harmony Center.  All of these examples      would be classified as home cottage industries at Harmony Center.
4) Decisions concerning Harmony Center's progressive development will be based upon      the needs of our Harmony Center resident community.  Those residents who own land      in Harmony Center will have equal vote.
5) Our intent is to maintain this Harmony Center community as one clean and free from      drugs, violence, protests, activists, and intolerance.
6) Planting and producing vegetables and fruits, as well as herbs in our Harmony      Center community garden (optional) including home cottage residential gardens.
7) Organically raising all types of animals, on the Harmony Center property, as a      nourishing and abundant food source.
8) Hosting and facilitating several adult education classes on subjects based at      Harmony Center, ranging from gardening to spiritual growth to computer information      technology services.
9)  Harmony Center is being developed as a centralized location where our community can      work towards devising and implementing new and alternative energy devices.
10) Our primary mission is to achieve a cooperative, efficient and autonomous      intentional community in Harmony Center, Arkansas where our neighbors assist      one another, with whatever is required, by offering to share their knowledge,      expertise and services in their own specialization including, but not limited to:      Agriculture; farming; hydroponics; health care, education and related programs;      computer information technology; networking technology, PCAD and Web design.
Our ultimate objective is founded on the basis that Harmony Center will soon      mature into an established intentional community and settlement based in Northwest      Arkansas, yet is one convenient hour's drive away from metropolitan areas.  To date,      we are successfully progressing full speed ahead with this project, while looking      forward to routinely and cordially welcoming new Harmony Center residents into      our evolving intentional community.  Our welcome mat is always available for you.
