Notice to my Donnadreamland Fans and Frequent Site Visitors
As several of you know, I have been offering you a generous, healthy volume of my original, limitless, heartfelt poems, essays, quotations and aphorisms to experience and enjoy at Donnadreamland since this website’s inception onto the Internet and World Wide Web in April of 2004. I have received several prestigious Web awards, commendations, worldwide recognition, respect and constructive feedback from you, of which I am sincerely appreciative. Know that I routinely apply your opinion, constructive criticism and acknowledgement as influential impetus towards continuing to produce my pioneering, exploratory verse of rescue and Donnadreamland website attractions. Indeed, your recognition, supportiveness and unwavering expression of merit for my efforts fuel my passion to routinely author an endless influx of my inspirational, compassionate verse of rescue especially for you.
Recently, I arrived at the decision that I need to disseminate my own literature (including the latest works that I have not presented at Donnadreamland) in as many viable, receptive modes as I can, in order to extend my humanitarian and world peace fellowship beyond the cyber realm to those who do not have Internet access and/or cannot afford a personal computer. Many individuals have highly recommended that I publish a book of my poetry, essays and quotations, particularly since I am presently seriously occupied as a student in the disciplines of world emergency affairs, metaphysics, Reiki, religious studies including spirituality, theosophy, Buddhism and scientology, as well as philosophy and sociology with a serious concentration in consciousness awareness and spiritual evolution.
Nothing would appease my conscience and spirit more, while further diffusing my world peace emissary fellowship, than to move forward with this proposed literary project involving book publication; however, I do not wish to commit to a vanity book publishing contract where I would be required to pay a lot of money up front, the outcome of which would almost certainly offer me little or no significant sales and profits for my labors.
In all honesty, I write because I expressively must into which I gently infuse a helpful, hopeful, healing and intuitive perspective on life, world affairs, spirituality and peace. I shall keep on writing from the heart, mind and spirit while sharing my enlightening prose with you as long as I am able. I look forward to producing more quality, awakening literature tailored especially for book, E-book, E-zine, magazine and newspaper publication well into the future. Please accept this measure as my empathetic, caring way of trying to help heal the world, through my compassionate verse, world peace and spiritual philosophy, by applying as many expressive methods as is humanly possible for an individual to produce in order to provide extended humanitarian outreach. In this spirit, I could spread my inspirational verse beyond to those not being able to afford Internet access and/or a personal computer, while I contribute essential emergency financial aid as a fundamental supplementary donation of humanitarian relief, through the greater percentage of the projected proceeds from this book and others I look forward to authoring down the road ahead.
My consistently high rankings in several prominent Internet and World Wide Web search engines including Google, Alta Vista, Yahoo, Look Smart, Allestra and Ask.com, under the categories of World Peace Poetry, World Peace Philosophy and World Peace Essay, clearly reveal that I have steadily remained number one and number two in these principal world search engines, under the above world peace related categories, throughout the past year. Moreover, my Donnadreamland humanitarian website has routinely maintained several high ranking listings under numerous other important categories associated with humanitarianism, world affairs, global aid, visionary, spirituality, and a variety of poetry, essays and related literature. I believe that my proven Internet and humanitarian track records serve as a solid basis to move forward with the book publication of my original literature, alongside the sincere purpose of offering my verse of rescue and philosophical reflection as yet another informational, inspirational, insightful and innovative literary media alternative to present to our diversified global community. My proposed charitable contribution and related philanthropic activities generated from my poetry, essays and quotations book proceeds would officially and essentially be included with other worldwide donations in order to help provide food, shelter, education, safety and immediate relief to those suffering and starving among us.
To date, I have received in excess of 900,000 visitors to my Donnadreamland website including several welcomed accolades and comments in my website’s guest book. My husband and colleagues have earnestly suggested that I introduce on Donnadreamland a Request for Proposal (hereafter referred to as RFP) on my Donnadreamland website wherein I would ask you, my audience, who has enjoyed my literary works to date, to make me an offer to publish the literary content currently presented on my Donnadreamland website into which I would include my forthcoming poetry, essays, aphorisms and quotations in the form of a book.
Please know that I am a registered member of several world renowned literary organizations including the distinguishedAcademy of American Poets.
I ask that any individual who is willing to consider publishing this book please submit, to my attention, a Proposal in response to this RFP into which you would need to include the following:
1) $_________________ as an initial payment, with the mutual understanding that I receive ________% of the profits after the costs of the book publishing have been met.
2) Your professional overview and explanation detailing the policies governing the current standard and protocol in publishing industry contracts. Furthermore, I would even consider the customary industry contract; however, for valid reasons I do not wish to be committed to a long term legal contract that is neither beneficial nor constructive for both parties.
3) Your professional direction and opinion as to whether or not this type of book would potentially sell well in the major chain bookstores domestically and internationally.
I need to emphasize to you that all Web content, including my original, copyrighted literature on my Donnadreamland website, is systemically right-click protected on this website, therefore being legally and systemically protected and not legally available for a visitor to download, transmit, print or reproduce without my own authorized permission in writing. The exclusive exceptions to this policy are the 100% virus-free music and other audio files that I offer my visitors on this Donnadreamland website, archived on the Free Music Downloads Web page, which are officially, systemically and readily available for free download and transmission. Additionally, I offer 100% virus-free, custom Donnadreamland logo banner graphics to my visitors for them to copy, save, enable and use exclusively on their own website(s) as an activated link. The ten thousand dollar question I present is how many books could I conceivably sell? Statistics reveal that my Donnadreamland website is a natural generator of prospects affording sound reasons to buy my proposed book of poetry, essays and quotations. On the other hand, except for the present Internet and World Wide Web official recognition, acclamation and promotion including public endorsement of my Donnadreamland website, in today’s publishing marketplace I am, in reality, regarded as a completely unknown and unpublished author.
Several other questions come to mind, such as whether to publish my book in hardcover or paperback format, how many copies to print, and the how much this book’s selling price should be for the published hardcover and/or paperback editions. Since I am uncertain as to how many proposals or offers I will receive for this publishing venture, or what would be considered an appropriate, fair offer for my literary skill level and relatively unique writing style, I would also be interested in receiving recommendations, referrals and contact information of the names of reputable, experienced publishers who would be interested in publishing this type of book. Simply addressed, I seek referrals from you of those publishers who are fair and timely responsive to their clients, and those professionals who make a commendable, noble, honest effort to market their books, while they can offer me some accurate numbers with respect to what the industry trends are in today’s market. I have considered it most likely that merely a handful of book publishers would ever find and read my Donnadreamland humanitarian website, due largely in part to the remarkably progressive and promising evolution of Internet websites.
Of chief concern to me is whether or not the publishers would take a chance on this new author (i.e., me) along with actively, expediently and thoroughly promoting this book. Moreover, given my particular situation in this light, would they recognize the benefit and gainful future prospects of an active, successful, pioneering and award winning website like mine that could be used to successfully promote this book?
I am continuing to author many more influential, insightful poems, essays, aphorisms, quotations and other literary expressions, an entire volume of which is not included on this Donnadreamland website because of this website's present bandwidth limitations. However, following careful consideration I believe that this latest treasury of my works, not yet presented to you, needs to be made available to the world in an affordable book format, before I would consider developing another website or an E-book in which to archive my most recent original literature. It is reasonable to presume that I could publish a second book, provided my premiere book is successful. I wish to offer my audience a consistently enlightening, educational and enriching experience when they read my literature, infusing my brand and blend of intellect, compassion, variety and artistry while I intuitively strive to serve their literary needs.
Once more, comes now another round of stimulating questions that I have reflected over considerably requiring answers, especially since I am brand new to the world of publishing:
1) Does the book publisher typically develop the author’s final form manuscript into the proper format for printing, using this author’s manuscript and the author’s and editor’s input as a guide, or is the author required to do this?
2) Hypothetically, if I were to produce this book print layout myself so that it would be technically and artistically ready for book publication, would it increase the percentage of the proceeds that I would receive from sales of the book?
3) What is the approximate life cycle and process involved, from the moment when a manuscript is submitted to a publisher and editor, before a book can eventually be published in final form?
4) After applying the above-referenced publishing timetable and logistics, when is the book eventually published and marketed accordingly?
As you might well ascertain from my lack of experience with respect to book publishing policies, procedures, marketing, technology and systems, to those of you out there for whom one or more of these are your fields of expertise, I would greatly appreciate your comments, direction, sound judgment and assistance as to how to proceed with this proposed book publishing venture. Additionally, I request that if you submit a Proposal to me in response to this RFP, please cite in your Proposal and reply particular examples of page format(s) including illustrative graphic, photographic layouts and schematics depicting some front and back book cover layout prototypes that are considered compliant with today’s book layout and publishing protocols and standards. Relaying these important details to me will help to minimize the amount of rewriting and/or editing required, so as to fully comply with these protocols and standards. I would especially appreciate you including front and back book cover layout prototypes that you would deem as appropriate for the type of book I wish to produce. I seek to become more knowledgeable in these stringent publishing guidelines, so that I can routinely abide by these regulations accordingly for the purpose of publishing this edition and my forthcoming books independent from this publication.
I believe that the sooner I can forge ahead with the book publication of my poetry, essays, aphorisms and quotations and my ensuing, related philanthropic contributions and humanitarian activities from procurement of the book proceeds, the closer I will be to sharing with our world members not having access to the Internet and/or a personal computer a supportive, insightful, exemplary volume of my latest, original verse of rescue and philosophy. My expectation is that this book publication will offer security with respect to helping to provide additional emergency financial relief through the philanthropies I contribute to local and worldwide charitable organizations. Ideally, my projected procurement and disbursement of the proceeds arising from the sales of this book, to human and disaster relief organizations, charities and other worldwide emergencies, would ensure the success of this charitable cause while further extending my inspirational verse to humanity as another alternative contribution to our global culture.

An approximate timetable projecting the schedule and duration that this proposed book publishing project would encompass.
A firm estimate of fees to be charged for the publication of my book, and an estimate of expenses that would be incurred for this proposed book publication project.
Names, business mailing addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers (if available) and contact people who have been your clients for the last twelve months, whom we can call on as references.
