Sought after spiritual release is fostered through inner peace. Donna J. Fennel
"We were born into this world with the gift of free will; how we choose to use our free will determines the course of our planet's destiny."
~ Donna J. Fennel - December 9, 2005 ~
AN UNEXPLORED SHORE® Original, philosophical poetry to promote world peace.
Authored with care from my cozy lair by Donna J. Fennel.
Revised on this 16th day of July, 2004 ~ More to explore.
Revised again, with spirit my friend, on April 29, 2006.
Along the star quest sojourn of life that we travel
Through the boundless vortex of space and time ~
Exist insurmountable obstacles we must conquer ~
O’er perilous peaks and valleys that we must climb.
And a choice awaits us at every crossroad beyond ~
Beckoning man to make decisions with special care.
Let we opt for the rambling, rocky road to nowhere ~
That lurks in sinister shadows and is omnipresent there.
We do learn along the way, as we choose with discretion ~
Who will walk with us upon the path towards world peace.
Those precious few among us who share their troubles, too ~
As beauty abounds and surrounds, will wonders ever cease?
Upon brink of dawn’s early light, will now all of our might ~
Tho our lives crescendo towards an end we can never foresee.
While on this enigmatic endeavor, our choice of companion ~
Ubiquitously unravels treasured tapestry of our final destiny.
The hallowed path I have chosen well is One of the Holy Spirit ~
While He walks on ocean eternally with me, and uncharted roads.
Knowing in my heart, the Lord will never leave me or forsake me ~
And with might, He will carry me when I hurt from a burdened load.
Venturing towards edge of night, I embroider enmeshed emotion ~
Impeccably woven with my worddom and wonder world of mirth.
Bathed in indigo twilight by the ocean, I now pen my devotion ~
To symphonic, melodious metronome lullabies of Mother Earth.
Gaze into space, wherein lay clues to mystery of our history ~
Boasting a galleon of galaxies beyond scope of comprehension.
Sages’ wisdom of ages cannot fathom its twists and bends ~
Etched and embedded in time, for we know not where it ends.
Drifting now into the dreamy dawn, as I explore distant realms ~
Beyond the dominion of my homeland, and a marvelous morning
Erstwhile singing my sonnets, daybreak song of things to come ~
Glorious mane held high my pride now nigh, against all scorning.
Come now my vast viscosity of visions as they unveil a prior life ~
Lost in my former time, through quantum space, like widowed wife.
Reveal realities shattered serendipitously by my disillusioned dream ~
While I wipe away whirlpool of tears, as outcome of angst extreme.
“The woman has gone mad!” they exclaimed, but is she, honestly?
Perhaps perceptive people recognized what others chose to ignore?
Abounds her wondrous world of worddom beyond a sea of soliloquy ~
Gently caressing the sands on endless dunes of an unexplored shore.
Oh, to know the pure and simple joy of knowing the Self I really am ~
While I cast my rod towards swollen seas to reap aspiration and hope.
I pray those whom I cherish most observe my prose and poetic song ~
For I seek to soothe your saddened souls to make you whole and cope.
Know there exists within this abyss of time a vast, enigmatic void ~
Standing as sentinel upon the mound of mankind, before us on this day
While the poetry of life I questfully quill, as time seems to stand still ~
Harbors my hope here now, in this hour of mine, while time fades away.
Alas, I seek spiritual sanctuary through my passionate poetic release ~
When no one is here on this God forsaken Earth but me left to please.
In this hallowed haven of my mind I no longer plan, nor do I scheme ~
For within this wistful world of worddom, I whirl my willful dreams.
Now all seems so sardonically still, as I sanction the sojourn of my soul.
I rest, as a servant of my Savior, in preparation for this Holy Guest.
With infinite patience and joy, knowing that He will come and employ ~
His Holy best upon the rest who offer Him humility, faith and reverence.
Yes, my shore is satisfied and complete within the harbor of my soul ~
Without knowledge of where I am, or where He has me destined to go.
Willfully and wistfully with wordly wisdom from which I have come ~
As my spirituous search through soulful script sojourns me further on.
To mold myself into a being whom I could never in this lifetime truly be ~
Thereby defeats the who I am, that lingers and languishes deep within.
For my poetic passion to prod the mind fuels my motivation to quill on ~
Alas, there is beauty in this release, from which spawns inner peace.

"I pray that one day there will be unification of all nations, before impending devastation and to protect our future generations.  To our Higher Power we should demonstrate veneration and adulation, in order for our woeful world to receive salvation and elation.  For it is through our own creation, promulgation, dedication, and education that we will rise above as one unified congregation.  Alas, our planet will come to know that, in doing so, before our final setting of our sun mankind will have won."
~ Donna J. Fennel - February 20, 2004 ~
"I am reminded that man, once and always, is a traveler of this infinite cosmic lair ~
Leaning back in my chair I sense my smile, because I know I had come from there.
From spheres and shapes embracing a cosmic quake of solar system beyond compare ~
Betwixt and between this rising star-studded scene, my cosmic self becomes aware."
~ Donna J. Fennel - March 6, 2006 ~
"Amidst the cosmic clamor and galactic hum ~
From the past, present and future I have come."
