O, the external is not everything, for grace gathers in the mind ~
Even though several among us know not where or how to find
The soul of those in their eyes, instead of inspecting their clothes ~
For what they wear cannot compare to a soul only Jesus knows:
A soul that is seen in man’s deeds, what they towards others give ~
And in how they care for fellow man, who also in our world live.
Now who am I to tell you this, a mere mortal who modestly knows ~
That people only judge by that which merely one’s outside shows?
Dress does not reveal that I possess stress and duress that you do ~
Or the strife in life that we, too, will, in due time, inevitably turn to.
How beneficial is advice from one nice who cannot solve, as well?
My dream is that you find hope and relief in all that I have to tell.
I know if I learn to love myself and eradicate hate or consternate ~
Those who witness this in me will relate, and appreciate my state.
For a spell, there will be men who believe they judged me well ~
But it is my inside, not my outside that made them react and tell.
If I walk the same street with these people tomorrow and today ~
So confident and proud, inevitably they will have nothing to say.
Tho I am several miles away, in the cyber realm I yearn to stay ~
Hoping some will heed what I say, advice through my poetic array.
This quest to quill my personal best for guests, especially for you ~
My messages are gruff and sometimes rough, yet this is what I do.
For those who despise my grammatical guise, permit a compromise ~
Allowing mind to wander, while my poetry you ponder and surmise.
May I remind you that a diamond in its purest form can only shine ~
When it is sparked to life by the hands that polished it into a jewel.
Liken this to my curious mind, stirred by wonders of life yet to find ~
While I arouse this passionate pen, time and again, as my ardent tool.
Forging choice words from what are construed as my personal views ~
Pared with care is a decision of precision I prepare to share as truth.
Through this mode, I am told one can learn to love one’s self again ~
For with pride I write of life and strife, as advisor guide for friends.
Alas, do not force yourself too fast to conquer challenges too hard ~
But do not give up on yourself either, as a new life start you impart.
During times when you are feeling blue, I am always here for you ~
But it is no surprise that I realize I must learn to take care of me, too.
O, with such remorse I know, soon, I will have to chart a new course ~
For in order here to normally function, I shall have to swap junctions.
Tho whirling my worddom of rhyme through time has been sublime ~
How I to long embark ‘pon my newly found enterprise of Web design.
I deduce I shall find success and truce, when I introduce to my guests ~
Captivating cyber realms to visit, created by me through the Holy Spirit.
I do believe it is through my heavenly guide, that I shall craft with pride ~
New Internet worlds and, as they unfurl, I shall be recognized as a girl
Who allowed God to intervene, ‘midst forest serene, to create cyber scene ~
So that you can enter these Web realms I caringly dreamed and schemed.
It is in this mode, that you shall view my external from the One eternal ~
This is one mode where outside matters most, with aid from Holy Ghost.
Tho I seek not to impress my cyber guests with my Web design quest ~
Know, indeed, spawned from the heart it will be blessed with my best.
I am cursed as a walking encyclopedia; it is through this cyber media ~
That I can reach out to one and all with new sites to appall and enthrall.
For it is via this cyber communication, that we will find appreciation ~
Of our world’s education, and inspiration to commit to this dedication.
While I weave new Web worlds herein, akin to my found spiritual win ~
Know that I shall remember my cyber kin through the poetry I penned
Time and again, hoping it you would comprehend, family and friends ~
My mélange of messages and passages here, to lend cheer to you dear.
Tho I must refrain, for now, from being known as poetess "Donna Frau" ~
To weave my Web design in time, I shall quill you an occasional rhyme.
There is such a litany of literature I yearn to learn, leaving me inspired ~
To write with delight; quicken the Dickens out of those who are sickened
By our woeful world, which via poems I unfurl understanding and desire
To birth a better Earth of peace, love, merriment, and mirth before I retire.
So, tho I put poetry on hold, in order to build websites savvy and bold ~
Know that some occasion shall foster temptation to quill again, I am told.
I know, who am I to tell you this, because I make it sound and abound ~
With such intricacy and simplicity, yet I found my passion it does impound
To continue to observe through my prose, ‘pon which lives I still impose ~
While I write HTML and JavaScript, I shall commit to instill my wily wit.
And tho you all have a busy life to lead, ‘pon my heart-clad sleeve, I bet ~
That if you heed my word and good deeds, you WILL lead a happy life, yet.
