O, she croons the soft soliloquy of the morning thrush ~
Haunting hum of creation upon brink of dreamy dawn.
Possessing the mesmerizing moon and midnight’s hush ~
Lingering, lilting, lasting lullabies before a new day is born.
Her eyes reveal the scintillating skies of cerulean blue ~
Her voice a whisper of woodland glens and ocean swells.
She is the wistful, wondrous wish that never comes true ~
The clatter of rare coins landing in empty wishing wells.
Her tears are the raindrops resting upon newborn rose ~
The change that miraculously lands in a beggar’s hands.
Her mind is the sanctimonious secret that no other knows ~
Her words yield the truth concealed in every grain of sand.
Her songs emit sensuous sound of supernal, cosmic choirs ~
She is the beautiful black pearl borne from the oyster’s grit.
Her ways portray the hidden good in charlatans and liars ~
Alas, she ranks as genuine among brethren of counterfeit.
Her tender tresses emit gilded haze of the gleaming sun ~
With gaze of a wandering star that transfixes one’s eye.
She is the competition bar none, which can never be won ~
Exposing a spellcasting smile effecting a thousand sighs.
O, she is letters you languish over and could never send ~
The knowing prose from which arose a beat in your heart.
To her family, she reigns as their beginning and their end ~
May this special day foster joy in her life and a fresh start.
Dear, may this be the moment in time you cherish forever ~
Eternally etched in abysmal depths of your brilliant mind ~
Friends in high school remain young, tho years may run ~
Revere these glory days; may magic of this moment stay.
May your graduation day be bountiful with joy and grace ~
To which, throughout life, you might return from any place.
Meanwhile, we wish that blessings flourish within your heart ~
For this triumphant transition is a whole, of which you are part.
Tho hour lingers when you say goodbye to your circle of friends ~
Know well this will not become farewell, for a circle has no end.
For one chum may find love’s luck, while the other lover’s pain ~
Ah, you now have a bond of comrade chain, and will meet again.
Summon courage, now, to draw dreams and brilliant schemes ~
Upon your blessed graduation and brink of new dawn beyond.
And if I could, you know well I would wave my magic wand ~
Casting my spell in order to compel angels to sing sweetest song.
Know there exists in this world no illusion too grand or too great ~
For you to masterfully weave your wistful dreams and your fate.
Tho tomorrow remains but a question, while the past is yesterday ~
Your life beyond awaits you, bestowing blessings along the way.
And may your high school years you fondly recollect and protect ~
While you enter your new life’s chapter with triumphant jubilation.
May your special day bestow precious bonds time cannot betray ~
