Welcome! This is Donna J. Fennel, founder, owner, administrator and designer of this website. Welcome to Donnadreamland and my real and not-so-ordinary world (whatever that is, because the heartfelt message bulk of what I send is woven from my wellspring of inspirational, intuitive thought without end).
Actually, my below original anthologies provide what I believe is an intense, historically accurate, in-depth overview of who I truly am (other than my autobiographical poems) and from where and "whence" I came (really!). I have been told, by several professionals, that some of the Renaissance period talents I have brought into this lifetime of mine I could not possibly have learned at such a young age, for I had not received education to perform these feats from my parents, teachers, professors, or colleagues. The fact is I have been speaking and writing old english since about age five, even speaking full dialogue in my sleep, including Latin throughout my childhood. Additionally, reality dictates that I profoundly realize and understand what I have experienced, personally throughout my life, and the feedback I have received from professionals' research done on me. Interpret this as you will after you read some of my original works below. There just might be something valid to this reincarnation thing, especially since the empirical historic data professionals had retrieved from me, verbally and in writing at the age of eight, was alarmingly accurate and knowingly untaught to me in this lifetime. Believe what you will. Please know that the reincarnation concept is my personal belief which I do not wish to impose upon you. However, I know in my heart that I have come from a very distant time and have seen all manner of things, including some of what mankind is in store for if he does continue fervently working towards global harmony and succeed in this mission soon.
The magnificent Renaissance era was a time of rebirth (The word "Renaissance" in French translates as "rebirth"). Europeans experienced a reawakening of interest in the classics, government, literature, art, music, culture and thought. It was a period of experimentation, exemplified by such prodigies as Leonardo da Vinci. It was a time of religious upheaval and, especially, an era of war. To that end, our world affairs and technology underwent a tremendous evolution and would never be the same during and following the Renaissance. Perplexingly, I feel extremely close ties to this milestone in history for good reason, for I know that I had lived then. Throughout the undulating ebbs and tides of lives, we leave behind us our own unique, historic blueprint while a minute memory tribute thrives inside, like an eternal flame forever flickering in our abyss of a marvelous human mind from time to time.
Know that my tendency to write like the "Old Masters" is not even remotely coincidental, including familiarity and proficiency with old english, which I mastered at the tender age of seven years old in this lifetime, as well as other previous era talents (but that's another story I shall save for my Cyber Donna memoirs). I am also an Indigo Scout and a Seventh Ray (I work with the Divine Light and fellow Indigos and to help humanity. I am one of the good guys and do not work with the dark forces. I am not an angel or a prophet; however, I am on a mission of mercy.). Recently, I had received my calling to help mankind by providing outreach, emotional support, love, hugs, verse of rescue, on- and off-line volunteer work, peace pilgrimage and philanthropic donations when the Divine Ones bless me with the resources to do so. What emerges and blossoms from the innocence of youth becomes one's own lifetime guiding truth, while remaining an enigma for some, as it was for me while I was growing up. Oh, I realize that you may balk at some of my verbiage in my Renaissance poetic anthologies below; however, I can past life regress on my own and conjure poetry and events from certain eras which I have been told are accurate (Let's leave this chapter for the "X-Files"). Believe what you will or opt not to, there is no other possible explanation for the accuracy of skills untaught in this lifetime I have possessed since childhood, other than having been reincarnated a few times over. (Spooky, eh?) You are now about to enter the "Twilight Zone".
Please know that all of my poetry in this Renaissance Poems link, and throughout my website including several of my other original works, will be incorporated into my premiere upcoming poetry and essays book, Borne from the Sands of Time, which is scheduled to be published and marketed soon. Due to recurring family health emergencies, I have been putting my book publication including poetry and essay writing on hold until my family obligations are under control. You know how it is. Continuing my traditional Cyber Donna humanitarian trend, I shall fulfill my promise inasfar as donating all proceeds and royalties that I receive from people's forecasted success of my poetry and essays to charity including disaster relief organizations.
