The finest of holiday greetings! This is Donna J. Fennel (also known as Cyber Donna and Angel Avalon Mysts), founder, owner, administrator and designer of this website. Welcome to Donnadreamland. Here you will discover the pure joy, through which I delight, when I write of my personal holiday happenings treasury with insight and might (especially during Christmas Eve night). The all-embracing, eternal spirit of peace and good will is truly the theme that I enjoy best, for it is in this realm where I express glad tidings blessed to you and yours the entire year through, precious cyber guest. I must give foremost appreciation to the fine folks whom I have come to know wherein my love, admiration and honor grows by way of my prose throughout the years. It is here where I am pleased to introduce to you some of my original, heartfelt holiday anthologies, some of which depict old English language from my days that were, while I transcend you from this golden treasury of yesteryears towards my merry myriad of present day moments. I am frequently quilling more new, exhilarating holiday poetry to include on this link which, incidently, is my favorite, most compelling and soul-satisfying theme. I make every effort to extend this spirit of good will throughout the year, too. I always experience joy when holiday poetic presents from the heart, mind and soul I employ.
All of my poems archived in this My Holiday Collection link and throughout my Donnadreamland website, including several of my other original works, will be in my upcoming poetry and essays book, Borne from the Sands of Time scheduled to be in bookstores, in a paperback edition, later in the year of 2006. My new poetry book will be dressed in my self-designed surrealistic yet serene paperback front and back covers. Continuing my philanthropic and humanitarian trends, I shall fulfill my promise with respect to donating all proceeds and royalties that I receive from the forecasted success of my poetry and essays book to charity. I pray that my upcoming book is well received so that we can feed the poor and help the homeless, especially in light of the recent Hurricanes Katrina and Rita disasters, similar worldwide catastrophes and impending global changes. My aspiration is to get this book of mine published soon, so that I can donate the proceeds to humanitarian organizations aiding those currently suffering and starving. It could be one or many among us someday in the not so distant future.
UPDATE 2-12-06: I wish to offer you some loving advice generously offered by my benevolent higher source: As you know, humankind is now being confronted with some of the most astonishing inhumane and insurmountable challenges worldwide, especially those occurring in the United States. My hope is that you unselfishly and mercifully avail yourselves to the multitudes suffering from this progressive global chaos by way of providing disaster relief in as many comforting ways as your conscience and compassion will allow, realizing that feasible emergency solutions must be spawned from the heart, while offering an open mind and outstretched hand to your fellow man. May you not allow fear, desperation, frustration and fury to be your responses for they are vile, vicious and vexing for these victims and your kind; rather, let love, respect and empathy overflow from within while expressing these humane traits freely, forgivingly and shamelessly towards those in need. Allow the mind to focus beyond money towards other ways of providing relief and hope to the hapless, harmed, homeless and hungry among you.
Maintain the positive vision of global harmony while utilizing the benevolent graces of the Universal Life Force including the power to do good, focused intelligence, intuition, clarity of purpose, divine love and acceptance. Simultaneously, exhibit towards one another your heartfelt empathy, respect, trust, open-mindedness, tenderness, kindness, tolerance, love, and compassion while accepting personal humility without regret or regarding this as failure. Put to rest your worries over others and yourself over trifles and trivial matters, because these little issues will work themselves out once you accept, approach and conquer the bigger, more serious ones. Go easy on yourself; be more forgiving of self and others and you will light the way for all. I envision the rewards that you will reap from acquiring these magnanimous qualities and evolved state of mind, to save yourselves from yourselves, will be the virtues of serenity, inner confidence, self-control, purity of mind and spirit, singleness of purpose, unselfishness, compassion, tenderness, love, mental and moral balance, tranquil temper and conscience and, most of all, an enduring world of peace. Moreover, through this process of self discovery you will have finally found inner peace, including the power within for peace everlasting on an ascended level.
Do not become afflicted or tempted by those hidden dark forces of selfishness that will seek sadistic pleasure from invoking apprehension, confusion, tumult and blindness while infecting you with distrust, fear, anger and delusion. Allow your intuition to be your guide towards peace while overriding your ego. Earth, nature and your community seek balance, harmony and love throughout this inevitable transition. The people recovering from the current global stormfront calamities should not be regarded as the enemy or prey to a predestined disaster in a faraway place whom you are unable to aid, no matter how humble your contribution. They are your brothers and sisters, in the family of man, who require your prayers, cares and generous shares including emotional support (which you are all capable of giving and receiving and it does not cost a cent), for these unfortunates are one with you and the Higher Power, regardless of your personal belief system. Peform this humane deed towards those in immediate need; indeed, you will not be sorry that you did, for these unselfish acts of grace that you now bestow will help your kind survive the times you will soon come to know. Your unconditional love, acceptance, empathy, respect and support towards those suffering from these recent and future natural disasters will be rewarded and reciprocated, while the warmth from your compassionate heart and soul radiates within.
Do not be consumed by a false reality and by the omnipresent dark forces that wear many deceptive faces, some of which will appear as cunning, compassionate guides and leaders yet have a sinister intent in mind. Rue to those misguided souls who are entrapped and oppressed by these leaders' falsehoods. Listen carefully to the loving, intuitive source which lives higher within you and yearns to be awakened, while you progress towards the Light. The very breath of your existence now depends upon your renewed perception of how to nurture the diplomatic, nonviolent virtues of peace while vanquishing the vices for your survival, through this lesson of which you will discover the truth of truths: Your free will is a gift from your Higher Power which must be trained and directed with divine purpose in mind, in order for this to work. If you ask yourself how open are your heart and mind, you will come to know the answers required for individual growth and wisdom. I am one of many messengers on a merciful mission and a server quest; look forward to the time when you, too, will be guiding, healing and offering hope, joy and relief while teaching and guiding others towards the way of peace on your planet.
A SIDENOTE: I have declared May 2nd as Cyber Donna Day, as that was the day I relocated from Tallahassee, Florida to beautiful Harmony Center, into which I have included in this holiday collection none other than my infamous poem Cyber Donna's Farewell, paying tribute to my dear Email cyber guests who had tolerated me and my poetry for over six years online. I believe that they deserve a special day bestowed to them for having been my most loyal and patient of subjects, don't you? Hence, the inception of Cyber Donna Day, so that for my having been their "gracious" Email poetry host, they can pay a toast to Cyber Donna's "ghost" (More "ho-ho" than you will ever know). Actually, my Email audience was my best of poetry critics, and my works have matured from their feedback. On a more serious note, I am now live on the Internet and World Wide Web to help humanity as a Server of the Light, accounting for why my new Donnadreamland lair of care had to go "on the air" to reach out to a wider audience. I waited to reveal all now because we, among you, have a humanitarian service to communicate through world media and other peaceful, benevolent, non-invasive means, including the cyber realm of the World Wide Web and Internet.
My hope is that you experience and relive the happiest of holidays in this realm, following your sampling my heartfelt poetic premiere, here. Enjoy, and may your days be blessed with the very best now and the entire year through, while I willfully and wistfully weave my world of rhyme through time. Quilled on the 22nd of November, 2004 ~ While eternity I explore.
Cock your ear to capture a whisper left in an angel’s tender cleft ~
During somber morn gray, while boughs sway in wintertide breath.
‘Midst Earth mirth and merriment ‘round, cast your weapons down ~
For perhaps today we can postpone man’s appointment with Death.
While harp is strummed, in the distance hums yonder fife and drum ~
Haunted history of patriotic phantasms that languish to linger close
During season when brethren of man is supposed to find good reason ~
To prevent a war these dead lament, because it made them into ghosts.
Alas, to their chagrin, these specters witness contagious mortal sin ~
That prevails and entails, while they set sails towards their fated lair.
Shaking their heads, for how they dread that we might never overcome ~
Our wicked ways, ‘til final days when we see resting rays of dying sun.
Now while we shop and spend, to no end, entrust moment to remember ~
‘Midst our ambient embers in December that you are a worldwide member
Meant to share and spare all that you can with your brethren of man ~
Swarm and warm this embrace of chill by spreading your own good will.
As laughter is scattered ‘round a radiant hearth, may you consider this:
It could wind up being your final Christmas ‘mongst amity of family dear.
Perchance your upcoming New Year’s resolution should be of absolution ~
To commit yourself, above all else, towards eradicating hatred and fear.
When you place that ivory dove above, ‘pon your uppermost proud bough ~
Pause to recall that the greatest gift of all one could heartfully give now
Would be peace and respect to be spread globally, before mankind totally ~
Destroys what is left of the angel cleft, accepted as Divine blessing, instead.
When wayward ways of world become unfurled, of which we will be bereft ~
Recollect and protect the peace message once whispered from the angel's cleft.
May we someday walk alongside one and all with pride, while freedom rings true ~
